Well this year has flown by and so much has changed and continues to change here at Room Swap!
First of all I would like to welcome Christian Lowe who has joined as a new partner of Room Swap. Many of you will know Christian already, he comes with an abundance of experience in the industry and I for one am really looking forward to us working together in the future.
I would also like to introduce you to our new key advertisers. Jim Kelly of NRG First, Susanne Williams of SW Consulting, Momo Wilson of Gilchrist & Soames and of course Heather Turner of Forfeng. All are keen to share their knowledge of their respective companies and are ready to answer any questions you all may have for them.
Room Swap is introducing some new features to assist all our members in helping them find the ideal 'swap'. As well as facilitating our search options to help narrow down your search, we have also opened up the site to bars, restaurants, theatres etc so you can gain more information on your destination and plan your holiday to suit your tastes and interests. These listings will be located on the homepage on the main menu bar at the top of the screen.
Another new feature we will soon be launching onto the site is our 'late availability' section. This section will be viewable by the public as well as members with the intention of helping to get heads on beds. Whether it introduces a 'swap' with a fellow member or a booking by a member of the public, we hope it can help fill up your rooms. We also encourage all our members to use our Facebook page to post any late availability or promotions on offer direct onto the page. Many establishments are doing this to great success. We now have over 1600 followers on Twitter and are fast approaching 6000 'likes' on our 2 Facebook pages. This together with the 5000+ unique visitors to the site every month means we are now in a strong position to help you gain a great deal of attention to your properties.
